The possibilities are endless with the intersection of open source content management systems, the adoption of the internet for adult learning, and the recognition of the needs of adult learners. There are several options related to open source content management systems but a widely adopted one is WordPress.

WordPress evolved from a blogging platform to a content management system AND can be adapted to use as a structured and well-designed learning management system.
