1st Look at Rise: Articulate’s Newest eLearning Authoring Tool

November 15, 2016  Tim Slade

If you’ve been following the trends within the eLearning industry over the past several years, you know that mobile eLearning development has been a huge focus for many eLearning authoring tool providers. As more and more people rely on mobile devices for everyday use, it has become increasingly important that we (as eLearning designers) can provide a consistent learning experience, regardless of the device being used to view our content.

Last week, Articulate launched Articulate 360, which included updated versions of Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio. As I mentioned in my overview video of Storyline 360, this update added support for a new, mobile-responsive player. Articulate also released an entirely brand-new eLearning authoring tool, called Rise.

Articulate Rise New in Articulate 360

Compared to Articulate Storyline or Studio, Rise is a very unique eLearning authoring tool. Rise offers super-rapid eLearning development, in a web-based environment. In addition to being incredibly easy to use, Rise also has mobile responsiveness built-in! This makes it a no-brainer to create and offer mobile learning solutions.
